OUR WORK

We work on a diverse range of projects and market sectors ... each of which delivers a brand based experience.

Below is a sampling of highlighted FEATURED PROJECTS delivered over the years that best represents our imaginative approach.  Please feel free to reach out for a creative consultation to discuss your particular project needs in order to determine how we may assist.

SLICE HOUSE

Amid the bustling streets of Universal City Walk Hollywood, guests at Universal Studios can enjoy whole gourmet  pies or pizza by slice.  Whether on the go, or dine in, guest can enjoy their pizza with ice cold craft beer or wine.

XOSE

The owner of a mid-rise had a small ground floor space that was underperforming.  We were tasked with creating an upscale, but approachable restaurant space that offered the tenants a place to retreat, unwind, and gather for an impromptu meeting or simply meet for a quick bite and drink.  Their directive was to create a space that evoked a "beach resort restaurant that included upscale comfort, featuring open-air seating and might be found just steps from a white sandy shoreline."

PIZZA ROCK

Located at Downtown 3rd in Las Vegas, Pizza Rock is a restaurant that offers artisanal pizza and craft cocktails.  Guests enjoy an interactive pizza dough tossing floor demonstration, and a full size Peterbilt DJ booth playing classic and current rock.

PRISM

More than a museum, Prism is an interactive playground celebrating the physical wonder of light.  It includes highly interactive guest-centric spaces that entertain, teach, and demonstrate physical and ethereal qualities that can only be described as magical.

DIVE BAR

Come see where mermaids play, and enjoy the show while sipping craft cocktails.  This upscale immersive mermaid bar, that was part of a narrow downtown infill project is more than it seems from the street.  It hosts a mercast show from a large cantilevered tank that floats above the bar and is visible to patrons below, along with a few other surprises.

SANTA BARBARA ZOO

The Richard Block Conservation Hub arose from reimagining and repurposing an existing retail space at the zoo.  This immersive experience laboratory space offers guests of all ages the chance to step into the shoes of a conservationist.  Taking measurements, counting creatures, learning field techniques, and studying environmental habitats are just a few of the hands on activities that guests can participate in onsite.

HURRICA

At more than 100 years old, HURICA V  has found a new home in the harbor at Westpoint Harbor in Redwood City, and was the inspiration of this upscale waterfront restaurant.  The restaurant borrows subtle details from the ship, and the craftsmanship throughout the venue.  With a double sided jelly fish tank, private dining room, large display kitchen, three sided bar, large wine wall feature, and generous patio seating, HURRICA is a waterfront experience serving extraordinary sea-food cuisine.

PARKVIEW MARKET

This adaptive reuse of a parking structure, reimagined the ground floor by converting it into a "marketplace", with several shop style vendors, while activating the top level with an open air roof top venue.  The space was designed with a playful "bird watching" theme that created branded elements at each level including not only a bird species at each level, but corresponding audio bird call elevator buttons.  No-one would forget which level they parked on in this experience based graphic environment, including many little hidden surprises.

BOATHOUSE

This Asian eatery and sushi house, with locations in CA and Las Vegas, is an upscale restaurant serving artisanal sushi and cocktails in a very minimalist Asian inspired  environment where the number 8 is part of the trade dress. This space captures some biophilic elements, prayer wheels, wood block wall prints, and dragon eye pendant lights.

WESTSIDE CHRISTIAN CHURCH

Working with a very limited budget, this vacation bible school photo booth, with a theme of "Into The Jungle" was produced with spare and repurposed parts, leftover paint, and A LOT OF IMAGINATION!  This week long event included a custom fabricated jeep, temporary lighting, and a scenic backdrop for that memorable "intagramable" moment.  Yes, the tire treads are egg cartons.

SPECTRAL

This temporary art installation was designed and developed in response to an RFP for a client.  Located at the Flatiron Plaza in New York,  at the intersection of 23rd Street, 5th Avenue, and Broadway, this infinity mirrored cube took on one persona by day, and another by night ... inside the cube was an interactive technology art piece for locals to enjoy.

AFWERX

This recruiting challenge for the US Air Force was intended to provide potential candidates a tailored presentation based on specific interests and aptitudes.  This traveling pop up interactive recruitment space offered highly targeted career path mapping, one-on-one interaction with an airman, and a competitive immersive experience mission.  (Produced in collaboration with First Person Xperience)

BORNHOLM MEDIEVAL CENTRE

Located in Denmark, the Bornholm Medieval Centre offers first hand experiences of daily life in a peasant society from around 1350 to 1450.  This pirate (or sea robber) exhibition allows guests to experience “Medieval Pirates in the Baltic Sea”, by boarding the  pirate ship and learning the stories behind the real pirates who sailed around the sea in the Middle Ages.

TRUSD :: FOOTHILL HIGH SCHOOL

As part of a gym modernization, we were tasked with reimagining one of several gyms in the Twin Rivers Unified School District.  The imagery above shows the "before" conditions, the "concept" design, and the "built" finishes.  There is also a PAN of the concept model showing the entire space in context.
